Medli Gijinka

Sometimes I feel like I use Photoshop's pen tool as a crutch. So I challenged myself to not use it for this picture. I went to draw Medli's outline, and then I realized that the reason I got good with the pen tool in the first place was because I suck at drawing a smooth outline on a tablet. So I went a route I don't normally go and drew Medli and a background without outlines or using my most commonly used tool. It was tough. I think I'll go back to my normal style now.
